In a significant boost to grassroots political mobilisation, the Distinguished Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, has donated ₦15 million to support the activities of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), the body championing the re -election of President Bola Tinubu in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
The money was donated towards the furnishing and equipping of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) Secretariat in Ikorodu Federal Constituency hosted at the Odesanya/Ogbe family house; located at 27 Olubi Street, off Ayangburen Road, near the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu. The secretariat is positioned at the heart of the constituency, making it easily accessible to party members, stakeholders, volunteers, and supporters who will utilise the facility for political and community engagement activities.

The donation, according to the RHA, is a strong demonstration of Senator Abiru’s commitment to strengthening the Renewed Hope movement and supporting the re-election project of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) through effective grassroots engagement and political organisation.
In addition, the intervention also reflects Senator Abiru’s confidence in the leadership of Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, the Lagos State Ambassador of RHA, whose strategic direction has continued to expand the movement across the state.
Comrade Japheth Odesanya, the Coordinator, RHA Ikorodu, spoke with THE IMPACT on what the financial support from Abiru will be used for.

“The ₦15 million donation will be utilised to furnish the secretariat with modern facilities, including air conditioners, executive chairs, office furniture, conference room equipment, workstations, and other essential office tools required for a functional and efficient administrative centre.
“With the furnishing support coming from the Senator, coupled with the visible energy and passion of the RHA team, it is set to become a central hub for political coordination, stakeholder engagement, volunteer management, voter education, strategic meetings, and grassroots mobilisation across Ikorodu Federal Constituency,” the grassroots mobiliser emphasised.

Expressing his appreciation, Comrade Japheth said the RHA family remains eternally grateful to Senator Abiru for this outstanding support and loyalty to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian people. “He has simply demonstrated leadership and responsibility. He is doing good.”
The RHA Coordinator, also said that some progressive individuals had earlier helped in funding the movement in its operation across the Ikorodu Division , noting Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye, representative of Ikorodu Constituency I, Lagos State House of Assembly; Hon. AbdulKareem Olugbenga Shittu, aspirant in the just concluded House of Representatives primary election; Mr Lateef Odugbemi, CEO Latodus Ventures, Mr Igbasan (Agali), the Lagos State Coordinator, Joint Task Force(JTF), Dr Taiwo Hassan, CMD, Ikorodu General Hospital, among others.

Comrade Japheth Odesanya further hinted that reputable leaders like Hon. Babajimi Benson, representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency and Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun(AMA), representative, Ikorodu Constituency II, have equally signified interest in supporting the renewed hope agenda in Ikorodu, and beyond.
